Welcoming Kate Roberts To The Blog.

Hello All My Wonderful Readers,

Please welcome my character guest at this time Kate Roberts, please have a seat and let us get this shin dig started.

1. Please tell us a little about yourself.
Hi, my name is Kate Roberts.  In Waiting for Dusk, I’m a sixteen year old girl who’s on her own for summer break. I’m an only child and most of my friends weren't in town for the summer. I was totally bored. Little did I know life was about to change and take a surprising turn all because of a book! I kept dreaming I was at the Grand Canyon, over and over again. Strange thing…it was always 1927.

2. How/where did you first meet your love interest?

I met Drew at the Grand Canyon. I was climbing a fence, not too gracefully I might add, and fell to the ground. I heard someone laughing right along with me. When I looked up, he was leaning against the back of El Tovar Restaurant enjoying the view.

3. Was it love (or attraction) at first sight?

Instant attraction for sure. Being sixteen at the time, I doubted love at first sight. It took awhile to realize it was. Drew tells me it was love at first sight for him.

4. When did you know for certain that you were in love?

I was home, in the present, and my mom supposedly lent the book to one of her students. (Not really, but that’s another story.) Even though I thought it was a dream, I was desperate to get that book back. I had finally figured out it was the link to 1927.  I loved Drew and that world meant more than the real one.

5. Have you done anything to compromise your love (or vice versa)?

Sure, doesn't everyone? After all, I’m a teenage girl who’s trying to find herself. My best friend from childhood decided we should get together. I went along with it. Pretty dumb but I saw it as casual dating, a way to not think about Drew. Tyson saw it as something much more than that.

6. Has anyone ever come between you?

Oh, yeah. My friend, Tyson, more than once. He’s practically a stalker now. In Call of the Canyon he does something very dark to get my attention. Drew has a jealous streak when it comes to him.

7. What's the biggest challenge you've faced together as a couple?

In Stealing Time we face our biggest challenge in New York City. We've gone back in time to visit Drew’s family. All’s not as it seems.

8. Is there a happily ever after in store for you?

Drew is an old-fashioned guy in a futuristic world, if that makes sense.  I've done some growing up and don’t think life’s a fairy tale anymore. Once you realistically face life as a couple, you definitely have a fighting chance. Most YA stories have happy endings. I think mine does, too.

Excerpt:

With the wind came his scent and Julia took pause in her rapid pace. Scanning the ground, she caught the backside of him. Luckily, she was downwind and went unnoticed. With all mountains’ wind, that could change within a pulse. Deciding to hesitate in her movements to look him over could be a mistake. However, by the look of the backside of him, one she would be willing to make.

He was tall, well over her five foot nine stature. Julia could always hold her own in height with the males in town. Still it was nice to see a man who could perhaps make her feel delicate if only for just a moment, if any. At the pinnacle of his stature bore the broadest shoulders she began thinking she had ever seen. Even through his, thick fall apparel she could visibly see the contours of his tapered muscles. They seemed to fight the confines of his clothes and beg to tear free. If she did not resolve what he was from his scent, she undoubtedly could see now what he was by the build of him. She and her brother were the only two she would have ever known of and even that was not until this past year. This man shared the husky form and well-muscled sculpture of her brother. Although this Werewolf would easily outweigh her brother hands down.

She should move and gain ground for her attack but as he turned scanning the land, Julia found herself still to be held in awe of him. Chiseled features trimmed with a shadowing of sandy brown scruff to match his locks of wind-tousled hair. Minus the minuscule of gray that perhaps, only their kind would be able to catch up on. Add in his amber eyes and she could feel an inner turmoil like no other. For all the great works known to the world this man would surely be seen as one of them.

As he caught site of her she knew pausing the second longer on his sun warming eyes had been her down fall. Now it was run and run faster than she had ever in her life.
Tearing through the edge of the lumberyard and entering the forest line took all the strength she could muster. He was fast, too fast, and if not for the distance that had been between them, he would have had her in no time at all.

Their veneer of humanity ran too thin and as the pain creped forward Julia knew that this Were was bringing her wolf to the forefront. With the space amid them disappearing rapidly the urge to change came on chaotically strong. Her stride was pushed to its max and her skin could no longer coil from the oncoming touch. Just as his grip clasp on her the unfurling began and Julia could no longer hold back the pain of the unseen moon’s call.

The hellish howl of a wolf withering in pain filled the tree side. It was enough to stop her once tracker and now pursuer in his tracks. Through her huffing puffs of wolf in changing form, she heard him mutter, “It can’t be?” Then it was all she could do to remain conscious before everything including the arousing male went black.

Welcome Dan to the Blog

Dear Readers,

Please welcome the awesome author Dan to our blog.

You’re never too old to have one more adventure

Brought to life by Steve Ferchaud’s vibrant drawings, this story for all ages by Dan O’Brien lets us know that it is never too late to have one more adventure.

An Excerpt:

Robert Pendleton opened one eye as the light of a passing car flashed over the window, shattering the darkness into prisms. He rolled onto his back on the beat-up couch and yawned as he reached his hands up and rubbed his eyes unceremoniously.

He looked out over the darkness at the digital clock. The red digits spelled out a quarter ‘til midnight––nearly fourteen hours of sleep. He smiled and grabbed one of the cushions of the couch, burying his head in it. Just enough sleep, he reminded himself. Robert felt that anything less than twelve hours of sleep was very nearly too little.

He grasped blindly for the TV remote.

Groaning as he lifted his head, he looked at the empty table––his eyes drawn by another flash of a passing car. He couldn’t see clearly, but he knew that the remote had been there before he had fallen asleep nearly half a day ago.

“Could have sworn….” he mumbled as he pushed himself up and brushed his hand around the top of the table, finding nothing. “Where did….”

Another groan escaped his lips as he lifted his body to a sitting position and threw aside the cluster of pillows that he had gathered around himself. He reached out for the lamp, but instead knocked it to the floor with a resounding thud.

Robert muttered as he stood up from the couch, and then sank to his knees to search around in the darkness for the fallen lamp. Reaching around on the shadowed floor, shards of the broken lamp scattered like pieces of light.

He turned his head, peering beneath the large space underneath the couch and saw the reflection of the buttons on the remote. The off-gray piece of machinery was underneath the couch––only darkness lingered beyond it. He reached out as he spoke again.

“How did it get all the way down there?”

Robert flexed his hand and strained as he twisted his back to reach farther; yet, the remote remained just out of reach. He pulled his arm away with a huff and craned his neck to the side, staring underneath into the darkness below the couch.

His eyes widened as he saw the impossible: there was something beyond the remote. He shook his head and closed his eyes, whispering to himself that he didn’t see what he thought he had.

“I saw a little man,” he whispered to himself as he opened his eyes once more and nearly gasped as he did so.

The figure was closer now and he could make out the outline clearly. A tiny man rested just beyond the remote.

“What in the name of…?”

“Not here in the name of nobody, laddie. I be a friend though,” crooned the miniscule figure as he interrupted Robert and stepped forward, placing a hand on the darkened and slick surface of the remote.

A tam-o’-shanter crested his bright red hair, the shaggy mane blending perfectly into his equally crimson, neatly trimmed, beard.

A billow of whitish smoke drifted from the long-stemmed pipe that he held clenched between his lips.

Robert fell back and knocked aside the adjacent table. Rubbing his eyes, he spoke a single word: “Leprechaun.”

Dear Readers,

Today we welcome the wonderful book Rachel Legacy's to the blog today.

Excerpt:
Rachel Connors loved her life, and her job as a manager at a ski resort in Aspen Colorado, but after learning she was ill, she decided to take a long needed vacation to her parent's home. This was when she met Kyle Landers, who in her absence had moved into her parent's lives, and before he'd even met Rachel, Kyle had decided not to like her. Kyle had been alone in the world when Rachel's parents had taken him in; and he couldn't understand why their ungrateful daughter had chosen to distance herself from them.

Rachel and Kyle grew closer, and she knew she was falling for him. Everything changed when Rachel was scheduled to meet Kyle, but a call from her doctor summoned her back to Aspen, telling her parents there was a problem at work. When Kyle hears of this, he boards a plane to find her, learning the truth of her condition. Their love blossomed but it was to be short lived when on their flight back to the ranch the plane crashed. Despite an extensive search, Kyle was never found, and Rachel was forced to go on without him.

Four years had passed, and Rachel's relationship with Marcus, her new boyfriend, was moving to a different level, but at the same time, the thought dead Kyle had come out of his coma; his mind lost in the events four years earlier. After Rachel accepted Marcus' proposal, Kyle returns, leaving Rachel with a dilemma. For four years Marcus had been by her side, but now Kyle was back, wanting her just as much as he had the day of the crash. She needed to get away to make her decision, so she left for Aspen, only Kyle followed her to try to convince her that they belonged together.

Who will Rachel Chose? Is Kyle's love enough to bring her back to him?

My Writing Process Blog Tour

Hello Readers,

So I was asked by Julie L York to do this blog so that other authors could connect with each other and help with the marketing of their books. Well me being the one who loves to do marketing I thought this was a great idea so I took it on head on.

Well here is a bit about me:

Kristal McKerrington has been a professionally published author since 2010. She writes for Reem Vision and Bishop-Lyons Entertainment. She is published worldwide. She has been a commentator for TMZ. She is an award winning marketing and promoting author. She is a member of the Romance Writers of America's Association. She has appeared on Jim Will Fix It, has done interviews with BBC on and off since she was 6 years old. She was the face of Aberdeen's Sick Children's hospital from when she was 3 years old until she was 14.  She is building a strong media presence with over 1,112 fans on her fan page and she is climbing on facebook too. They have an app out which they use to interact with their readers and to promote their books, you can see and
download it for free here:

Julie L York  asked me to answer some questions as part of this new marketing idea. I'm delighted to answer the following questions.

Q1: What am I working on?

I hope by the time that this is published Norse Gods Lovers, a great Erotica, Paranormal, Romance novel. Following and falling in love with the Gods love stories over an over again.

First Love is a great anthology which I also hope to have released with Indie Gypsy which is a bundle of erotica, romance put into one book.

Marie's World is a book signed with Austin Macauley Publishing ltd, a mainstream British publishing company. A great contemporary romance meets drama. A novel sure to have you gripping at the novel while being amazed at all the twists, turns.

Q2:- How does my work differ from others of its genre?

First Love is a great mix that will have you melting in the chair, searching for a fan or iced cold water to down.

Norse Gods Lovers, is a great Erotica, Paranormal, Romance novel. This follows the hot steamy interaction between Loki and Jennifer. We meet his children, then the hot and tormented Thor. Odin even makes an appearance, its a great book that will have you turning the pages frantically, while fanning yourself.

Marie's World has never been done before and will have you going through an emotional rollercoster. You'll enjoy a romantic element, true villain and a love triangle which refuses to stop. You'll experience nail biting moments and an adventure which you'll never forget.

Q3:- Why do I write what I do?

I write my books because they are part of me. They fill up my head and put me at ease.

Q4:- How does my writing process work?

I break down the chapters and books, then work to a tight schedule.

As I close out the blog, I want to nominate great authors such as Danielle Zwissler , L. Anne Carington and Chloe Thurlow

Thank you all for stopping by and hope that you have a wonderful, day or night wherever you are.

Waking Up His Wife Fun!

Dear Readers,

Lets have some fun, with Waking Up His Wife out on sale in the UK and US. We wanted to give you a treat. Joe E Legends and myself got this made for you all. I hope you will enjoy it. We included an excerpt below and we shared the links to buy it in the UK as well as the US.

Excerpt:

The sudden movement of her burying into the thick duvets, pillows and sheets made pain explode through the front of her head. Pain lashed out at the backs of her eyes making tears form just behind her eyelids, they threatened to spill over. The heat of her tears clashed against the cool air of the room, leaving her eyes protesting against it. The hot burn of them was enough to send her cold hands flying to them, in desperate hope of cooling them.

The room started to spin and aches started to take over the rest of her body. Like a marching of soldiers, with a steady, determined pace. The aches came in a series of waves making her feel dizzy and sick. Almost as if she found herself in the grips of the rough, wild and explosive Irish Sea. With its venom for ships and those who tried to conquer it on a daily basis. She felt like death and it wasn't a feeling she'd ever been to use to. It wasn’t a feeling she wanted to get use to or ever have to deal with again.

She barely ever drank; she was more use to being on ‘drunk patrol’ rather being drunk herself. Without opening her eyes, she knew she faced down a killer of a hangover. She knew this wasn't going to be easily fixed by a simple aspirin and fry up. She searched blindly for shades and hoped none of her clients were going to be too loud today.

Her hand searched the bedside table and she found nothing. She tried to remember where she left them and felt sure they'd been there. She wasn't going to open her eyes to see where they were. She wanted to stay in the darkness as long as possible.

“Aww.” She groaned and she replaced her head deeper into the embrace of her nest of pillows hoping relief might come out of more sleep. It offered her a welcoming embrace at the edges of her mind. She hoped it might take her over soon as another wave of sickness finished beating at her.
She'd never felt this sick on boats crossing some of the worst oceans or in planes which felt like they might fall out of the sky.

“How's the hang over?” Came a voice which caused her head to jerk up and brought her eyes shooting open into the bright morning light of her hotel room. A series of chain reactions shot off around her body like a pin ball in a pin ball machine. Its reactions caused her to struggle to not whimper aloud against the pain that flooded her. She instantly regretted her sudden movements.

The entire room spun around her, her head screamed at her to lay it back down on the safety of the pillow. She felt last night’s aftermath of alcohol race up her throat into her mouth and she forced herself to swallowed back. The burn of it made her to cough against its alien presence within her throat. Her body shivered against the sudden cooler air it met. It made the hangover punish her even more with its tight grip.
Her mind got stuck on something far scarier. She registered her client standing there in front of her. Her mind became distracted by the sight of him there to take in the pain lashing at the back of her eyes. More pain whipped itself up some frosting, in the tender spot in her forehead. Her eyes feel like there were about to pop out of her sockets.

When the pain eased a bit more she focused on the man standing in front of her. She hoped it wasn't her client, but one of the other agents who might have put her to bed, after getting herself wrecked at the party. Instead when her fuzzy eyes focused she saw her worst nightmare. Her client standing right in front of her, butt-naked and dripping wet.

Hello The Amazing And Super Talented John

Dear All Readers,

Please welcome the former wrestler turned romance model John. A good friend and even more honoured guest for me to have on here. I've known John about a year and couldn't be happier than to have him answer some questions for all of you. Ladies, make sure you have some coffee and fans ready.

I'm now going to hand it over to John, so please make him feel welcome.

1) What made you go from wrestling into being a romance cover model?

Many people told me I had the look for it so eventually I just gave in and was glad I did. So many wonderful people in this business just like you Kristal McKerrington.

--Thank you John,

2) How did you find the transition?

I have modelled on and off for over 2 decades so it was a smooth transition. Just a bit of a variation from the other genres.

3) What's your favorite cover to be on?

It has yet to be released yet. It is my ‘Angel of Satan’ cover image that was claimed by author Kharisma Rhayne for a book in her Warriors of Malice series that is due out soon.

4) What made you become a Yahoo contributor?

It was suggested that I become a member through people close to me that thought my knowledge could help people. I always do what I can to help others Kristal to the best of my ability.

--You certainly do that John, we are all grateful for everything you do.

5) What's the hardest thing you have had to learn so far?

Success doesn’t happen overnight. Years of being consistent day in and day out with many sacrifices along the way. Physical and mental toughness are getting me through with God watching over me during this journey.

6) How do you schedule your time?

I try and balance my 3 children around my model projects and travel dates. It gets a bit crazy at times but my life has been very rewarding and life is meant to be lived so I’m living it babe!

7) Tell us 5 things which the romance authors and readers don't know?

I am a very emotional person, I am a very gentle person, I am pretty much a big kid myself, I am still taken back by all the love and support I have received from people all over the world, my proudest achievement is when people tell me “I am a good person” because that is me….my character not some plastic award or title.

8) Who was your ideal growing up?

Wade Boggs of the Boston Red Sox. Was a huge Red Sox fan back in the day.

09) Who is the one person you’re dying to meet from the following industries, romance, wrestling, modelling?

Romance, author Debra Anastasia. She is my queen and one of the greatest writers the world over. She has been so good to me, much love and respect for this amazing lady always! Wrestling, I already met the best…..my teacher back in the day the one and only WWF Hall of Fame Legend and my friend Walter “Killer” Kowalski. I was blessed to have had the opportunity to meet and become friends with him, awesome! Modeling, maybe Kate Moss as she is a true legend in the business.

10) What has been your number one moment professionally this year?

Being billed as ‘The Most Tattooed Male Romance Cover Model in The World’ I am truly honoured  humbled and thankful.

God Bless
