The Unexpected By Lori Foster 5 Star Review

Hello Readers,

You have a double treat here today, you are getting to go inside the book that was originally released in 2003 by Lori Foster known as "The Unexpected". A great suspense romance novel. We are going to get into her gripping piece of work right away. This one is too good to wait.

The Blurb:

Eli Conners expected hired mercenary Ray Vereker to be a tank of a guy with forty tattoos - not the feminine ideal with lethal combat skills. While Eli certainly needs Ray's help, the rest of him is thinking he might have something to offer her...Ray's as good as any man when it comes to storming enemy compounds and loading an AK-47, but who could blame a girl for succumbing to mind-blowing temptation in the steamy jungle? But now it's back to business. If only Ray wasn't feeling hot, bothered, dizzy...Suddenly, Ray's precise, no-nonsense mission is veering wildly off course, derailed by raging hormones, out-of-control desire, and a delirious love that is completely unexpected...

My Thoughts:

Lori Foster creates an intense suspense story from the get go. The heat of a brothers kidnap and undeniable attraction between two rugged individuals.

Eli Conners is a man to whom could hold his own. His secret past is now in play thanks to his younger brother getting kidnapped. He had been lonely and until now Eli hadn't known. Ray opened his eyes to much more than his heart.

Ray Vereker is a woman who has a strong spirit and an a aggressive streak in her. She soon breaks all of her rules and finds herself unable to stop the waves of lust compounding her.

This is a duo that I don't want to be on the wrong side of. These two funny, romantic and will have your heart pumping from the first page to the last. I must admit that no library is complete without a copy of this five star romantic suspense that will have you desperate for more of Lori Foster's books.

I want to thank you for stopping by my blog and reading my thoughts on Lori Fosters work. I have more of her books in my pipeline to be reviewed so check back for more of my thoughts on her awesome work.
