Between The Lines- Jodi Picoult and Samantha Van Leer Review

Hello readers,

We will have a special fairytale book for you today that your going to enjoy.

An enchanting YA novel from Number One bestselling author Jodi Picoult, co-written with her teenage daughter.
Delilah knows it's weird, but she can't stop reading her favourite fairy tale. Other girls her age are dating and cheerleading. But then, other girls are popular.
She loves the comfort of the happy ending, and knowing there will be no surprises.
Until she gets the biggest surprise of all, when Prince Oliver looks out from the page and speaks to her.
Now Delilah must decide: will she do as Oliver asks, and help him to break out of the book? Or is this her chance to escape into happily ever after?
Read between the lines for total enchantment . . .

This one is a really hard for me to review for its only a three star book review. I didn't hate the book but there was to many things I couldn't over look. Here is the following Positives and Negatives for this book.

Positive: I love the drawings and the idea of the book in the first place. The Kingdom that was created around us. I will keep this for my children to
try one day for I believe they should try all kinds of books.

Negatives: Most of the book doesn't make any sense what so ever. An example is below. There is a lot of jumping between the fairytale and Delilah's story. I'm not sure that I like the ending of the book either. There was a lot of moments when I was pulling at my hair wishing that something would happen.

Example of what didn't make sense "one night they ran out the castle together then she is in be in labour? - Some editing mishaps here.

I feel disappointed that I had to give it three stars as I think it could have been an easy 4-5 star book with a little more care.

Thank you for stopping by and I hope that you will check the blog out again to see if there is something of interest for you. I never know what I'm going to be reviewing next.
